batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that
can destroy electronic parts.

A strong FM stereo signal automatically
switches the radio to stereo from monaural.
SELECT — when AM/FM/RELAX is
set to RELAX, repeatedly press to
select a relax sound (train, brook,
ocean, wind, rain, and forest).
A CD or other source plugged into SOURCE
disables VOLUME and E-BASS. Use the
controls on the CD or cassette player to
adjust the sound.
POWER ON/OFF — slide to
turn the radio on and off.
VOLUME — rotate to
adjust the volume (see
“Listening Safely” on
Page 2)
E-BASS ON/OFF — slide to
ON for rich bass sound or to
OFF for normal bass sound.
